Ragavendra R Baliga, MD, MBA, FACC, FACP, FRCP (Edin), is Professor of Internal Medicine, The Ohio State University and Associate-Chief/Associate Division Director for Mentorship, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine which comprises of over 55 cardiologists. He is the Chief Mentor Officer for all clinical faculty in the cardiovascular division and the Inaugural Director of the Cardiology Oncology Center of Excellence. He was elected by his peers as the Co-Chair of the Appointment & Promotions Committee for Clinical & Non-Tenure Track Faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He has an MBA from the Stephen M Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is the recipient of the 2017 American College of Cardiology Gifted Educator Award — an international accolade from an organization with over 52000 members worldwide.
He is the recipient of the 2017 He is also the recipient of the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award, for his contribution to medical education from the Alumni Association of St. Joseph’s Boys High School
